Application Instructions and Timetable

Federal Income Tax Return - by March 31.

Complete this form first. Send a signed copy of your 2008 Federal Income Tax Return, including all schedules and copies of your W-2s to the Buckingham Friends School Business Office. While we recognize that supplying income tax information in advance of IRS deadlines presents a difficulty for some families, this information is essential to our awarding process.

Parents' Financial Statement (PFS) - by March 31.

This form is easier to complete if you have your completed income tax return. Send the original to the ‘School and Student Service for Financial Aid’ in Princeton. Be sure to answer all questions and supply explanations where requested on the form. Missing answers or explanations will delay your application.

Additional Information, If Applicable:

Financial Statement for Parents who are Separated, Divorced or Never Married. - by March 31

Complete this form if the Parents’ Financial Statement does not include information for both natural parents. Return the form directly to the BFS Business Office by March 31. Please note that a financial aid award cannot be made without the information from both parents.

Conferences, as needed.

When necessary for clarification or additional information, a conference with the Financial Aid Committee will be scheduled.

Additional Information

In certain cases, additional information may be requested from families. Requests for financial aid will not be considered unless all requested information is furnished to the School.
