Meeting For Worship

Buckingham Friends School is a religiously affiliated institution with a unique form of worship that is comfortable for children of all faiths and spiritually supports all beliefs.

The meeting place for worship.

Once a week students gather in the meeting house where they sit together in gathered silence in the manner of Friends. Every now and then the silence is broken by a young voice offering a personal message about a pet, nature, friendship, happiness and sometimes even sadness. In this aspect of our school and throughout our program, we encourage students to develop 'the Light within' which guides them to a deepening understanding of themselves as members of the world community.
