Buckingham Friends School:
- Is an independent school founded in 1794 and remains under the care of Buckingham Monthly Meeting
- Is one of the 12 oldest continuously operating schools in the United States
- Welcomes students of any race, color, faith, national or ethnic origin
- Has maximum enrollment of 176 students in grades kindergarten through eighth
- Has one class per grade with 20 students per grade, except kindergarten which has one class of 16
- Is comprised of 3 divisions: Lower School (K, 1, 2), Middle School (3, 4, 5) and Upper School (6, 7, 8)
- Has 21 full- and part-time teachers with a ratio of 1 teacher per 9 students
- Classes begin each day at 8:30 a.m. (8:15 arrival) and end at 3:20 p.m.
- Offers an After-School Program until 5:45 p.m.
- Students reside primarily in Bucks, Montgomery and Hunterdon counties
- Bus service is provided by local school districts to Pennsylvania residents
- Offers financial assistance to qualified students
- Graduates go on to attend secondary schools such as George School, Solebury School, Germantown Academy, Lawrenceville School, The Hill School, Princeton Day School, and local public schools
- Is a member of ADVIS (Association of Delaware Valley Independent Schools) and NAIS (National Association of Independent Schools)
- Is accredited by PAIS (Pennsylvania Association of Independent Schools)
