Director of Finance and Operations
Buckingham Friends School seeks a new Director of Finance and Operations beginning July 2019. This full-time, 12-month senior administrative position reports directly to the Head of School. Responsibilities include the following: supervise the work of the school accountant and business office; keep an accurate continuous record of the cash and financial position of the school and manage the financial operation of the school; establish a plan and schedule for the preparation of the annual budget; oversee all school purchasing, financial investments, banking activities, and payroll and benefits programs; and to provide staff support, in conjunction with the Head of School, to the Finance Committee and the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees. Part-Time Spanish Teacher
Buckingham Friends School seeks a new Part-Time Spanish Teacher beginning in September 2019. This half-time, 10-month position, includes responsibility for teaching Spanish to students in grades 6-8. The successful candidate will have experience teaching Spanish to Middle School students, a background in curriculum development, and a demonstrated track record of contributing to their former school(s) and their culture.
