Welcome to Our School
Welcome to Buckingham Friends School!
Nestled in the trees of Bucks County, on the edge of New Hope and Lahaska where Routes 202 and 263 intersect, our charming, woodland campus is just steps away from Peddler’s Village.
This rustic setting provides students from Kindergarten through 8th grade with the opportunity for exploratory learning, experiential education, and the development of teamwork, elements that combine to promote a lifelong love of learning.
BFS students understand that education is a journey of discovery, and recognize that the process of trial, error, redesign, and trial again is essential to gathering information, coming to realizations, and building knowledge. They are ready to face challenge because they are confident in having practiced the skills of discovery that will lead them to insight and understanding. This makes them fearless learners and participants in their own education, characteristics that distinguish Buckingham Friends School students, and a BFS education.
The following pages will provide you with a view into the dynamic programs that define our curriculum as rooted in tradition while embracing the opportunities of our present. We prepare students for the complexities of their future while holding dear the values and traditions of our past.
