In keeping with guidance from the Governor’s office, the PA Department of Education, and the American Academy of Pediatrics, and other professionals and experts, Buckingham Friends School has created a comprehensive, innovative campus-use plan for the 2020-2021 school year that gives us the ability and flexibility to live our mission and core values, deliver our program, and provide for the health and safety of our community on our campus and in our classroom environments. We have done so based on the best available information gathered from a wide range of state and local experts. While decision-making at the local, state, and federal levels will likely remain fluid, we will be ready this fall to provide the outstanding, personal, and dynamic school experience that is central to our mission and values – while taking the necessary steps to protect our community. Based on the initial success of our BFS: Together. Wherever! distance learning program, and now committed to increasing teacher training and resources for the future, we also know that we can be agile enough to shift quickly between on-campus and off-campus teaching and learning as circumstances demand. We will continue to follow guidance and direction from local, state, and federal authorities.
