The Art classroom is a place where children breathe creative life into ideas, passions, and beliefs. The visual arts curriculum sequentially focuses on art history, appreciation, criticism and skill building. As students progress through the K-8 program, they are encouraged to invest more personal reflection and interpretation. The study of world religions is integrated seamlessly into expressive art projects. Throughout the curriculum, students are exposed to a wide variety of mediums and techniques from which to express their own individual depiction of a subject. The May Art Show exhibits student work and showcases the depth and breadth of the curriculum.
