After School Programs
AfterSchool, held in the Jane Jackson House each day from 3:00 to 5:45pm, is a delightfully cheerful place. Students of all ages gather in the kitchen to have snacks and share stories from their day. Often, the snacks are homemade, baked or cooked right in the kitchen by faculty and students. Children have the choice of playing indoors or outdoors with a wide variety of games, toys, and crafts. A quiet room is available for those students who want to work on their homework. AfterSchool participants love the many holiday celebrations including a Halloween Party, a full turkey feast for Thanksgiving, Christmas and Hanukkah celebrations, Valentine’s Day, and an end of year party featuring their homemade piñata.
A one-time annual registration fee of $15.00 is charged for each child that participates in the program in that school year.
The standard afternoon fee for 3:00-4:30pm is $9.75 per child. The extended-day fee for 4:30-5:45pm is an additional $7.75 per child.
Each term a variety of fun and popular after school clubs are offered for students to enrich their learning experience. Children can explore new interests and develop new skills in Architecture Design, Clay, Engineering, Lego Robotics, Guitar, Piano, Acting, Gymnastics, Yoga, Zumba, Chinese Brush Drawing, Running, Russian, Cooking, Computer Programming, Golf, and Knitting to name just a few. Clubs meet one day each week from 3:30 to 4:30pm for six weeks.
