Experiential Learning

7th Grade Science Class

Opportunities for experiential learning are a valued component of our curriculum. Both on- and off-campus, all BFS students actively engage in meaningful experiences that encourage them to take initiative, find creative solutions to challenges, work collaboratively to achieve shared goals, and reflect on their achievements. Our age-appropriate off-campus experiences have become much-anticipated traditions. Whether it’s the Kindergarten trip to the Bucks County Audubon Society; Apple Valley Week (where 3rd Grade students take on roles from the 1800s for a unique perspective on history); or the 8th Grade’s Heifer International Trip — these experiences help each student, at every grade level, better understand their role in the world.
